Classical Theatre of Harlem
Our mission is to maintain a professional theatre company dedicated to returning the classics to the stages of Harlem; to create employment and educational outreach opportunities in the theatre arts; to create and nurture a new, young, and culturally diverse audience for the classics; and to heighten the awareness of theatre and of great art in Harlem.
Learn MoreInner City Arts
When budget cuts eliminated arts instruction from Los Angeles public schools in the late 1970s, it was up to local communities to fill the gap. Skid Row area schools and students, already struggling, were at a clear disadvantage—until artist and educator Bob Bates was inspired by a vision to "get an art space for kids" to serve this population. He and Irwin Jaeger, a businessman, teamed up to form Inner-City Arts in 1989. Knowing the benefits of the arts in the lives of all children, Bob and Irv were determined to bring the benefits of a safe, creative environment to children in downtown neighborhoods, who would otherwise miss out.
Learn MoreArt Noir
ARTNOIR started as a group of friends organizing “field trips” to museums, galleries and art fairs around the globe. In it, we discovered the power of numbers, and friendship, to make traditionally exclusive art world spaces feel colorful, inclusive and welcoming. We also discovered a passion for ensuring that the next generation of Black and Brown creators, curators, and collectors are connected in community, and contributing to each other’s success. Today, ARTNOIR is a female-majority and black + brown owned, NYC based global collective with a mission to celebrate and highlight the work of creatives of color while catalyzing cultural equity across the arts and culture industries.
Learn MoreThe Soul Of Seattle
The Soul of Seattle was created as a fundraiser to help foster relationships and empower the community through food. Our goal is to shed light on the diverse food and Black-owned businesses within Seattle, and raise funds to support our vendors and a local non-profit that supports youth of color. We believe these talented chefs and curators are the fabric of our food scene.
